My idea of a good first date is to be WITH A GREAT WOMAN AND go to a place in which we both feel comfortable, and have the opportunity to converse with each other. In acceptable weather, for instance, a nice walk through a park would be a good example of this.
My perfect first date would be a hike in the woods. I love the beauty and serenity of the deep woods, and to me this would be the perfect setting to get to know a new friend.

But...assuming we need to do the usual initial dating rituals...I would prefer we do something casual...something we might do if we'd already been a couple for 6 months or longer...like going grocery shopping...or doing errands or chores together...maybe later grabbing a casual meal before hitting the beach for a walk!
Basically...I've come to realize that we all tend to be on our best behavior when we initially date...showing the best version of ourselves. Its usually not until months pass...or physical intimacy occurs...that we begin to show our true selves...even we nudists...who are generally more open than textile folks.
For me, I want to see the real you...the you that you'll be when you are in a long term relationship.
Why spend time with the "getting to know you" phase just to discover we're not going to like one another? So, lets be real immediately...because if I like you as your true self...your everyday self...your not your best self...and you like my real self...than it stands to reason we will adore each other when we are at our best.
At my age...I'm in a hurry to not waste time...and prefer finding the right person to dedicate the rest if my life to...
